Payments and Account Access

What happens if a payment fails, and how to restore access to your account and menus.

Payments and Account Access

Your subscription is paid by card through our secure payment provider, Stripe. Here's what happens if a payment doesn't go through.

If a Payment Fails

If your bank declines a payment, your dashboard shows a Payment issue page.

  1. Click "Update card details"
  2. Enter your card details (you can use the same card or a different one)
  3. Once the outstanding payment succeeds, your access returns automatically and monthly payments carry on as normal

If Your Subscription Has Ended

After several failed payment attempts, your subscription is cancelled automatically. When you sign in you'll see "Your subscription has ended".

  1. Click "Resubscribe"
  2. Complete the secure checkout
  3. You're straight back in, using the same login

What Customers See

While your account is paused, your public menus and QR codes show "Menu Temporarily Unavailable". They go live again as soon as your payment or new subscription goes through – your QR codes don't change.

Your Data Is Safe

Pausing an account never deletes anything. Your locations, menus, dishes and allergen information are all kept. Data is only removed if you choose to delete your account yourself.
