Accessing Location Settings

  1. Go to your Dashboard
  2. Click on the location you want to edit
  3. Use the edit options in the location header

What You Can Edit

Basic Information

  • Location Name: Update if your business name changes
  • Address: Keep the address current for customers

Location Logo

Add your business logo to personalise the customer-facing menu:

  1. Click the logo icon in the location header
  2. Upload an image (recommended: square, at least 200x200px)
  3. Toggle "Show Logo" to display it on your public menu

Logo Tips:

  • Use square images (1:1 aspect ratio) for best results
  • Minimum 200×200px resolution
  • Transparent PNG or solid background JPG both work well
  • Keep file size under 2MB for fast loading
  • Test how it looks on mobile devices
  • Your logo replaces the location name in the header, so ensure it's recognisable

Disclaimer

Add a custom disclaimer that appears on your public menu:

  1. Click the disclaimer icon
  2. Enter your custom text (e.g., allergy warnings, preparation notes)
  3. Save your changes

Common disclaimers include:

  • "Please inform staff of any allergies before ordering"
  • "Items may contain traces of allergens not listed"
  • "Menu items are prepared in a kitchen that handles all allergens"

Duplicating a Location

If you need to create a similar location with the same menus and items:

  1. Navigate to your Dashboard
  2. Find the location card you want to duplicate
  3. Click the duplicate icon (two overlapping squares)
  4. A new location is created with:
  • All menus copied
  • All menu items copied
  • All settings and configurations

Use Cases for Duplication

  • Opening new branches: Start with your existing menu structure
  • Creating templates: Build a master location to duplicate for franchises
  • Testing changes: Duplicate to test menu modifications safely
  • Seasonal locations: Copy your main location for pop-up venues

After Duplicating

The new location will have "(Copy)" appended to its name. You should:

  1. Rename the location to your new venue name
  2. Update the address
  3. Review menus and adjust as needed
  4. Generate a new QR code for the location

Deleting a Location

If you need to remove a location:

  1. Click the delete icon on the location page
  2. Confirm the deletion

Warning: Deleting a location also deletes all associated menus and menu items. This action cannot be undone.
